Fredonia Public Pool
The Fredonia Swimming Pool was built in 1962 with a $3,000 county grant, a $6,000 loan, and fundraising money from the community. A Salt Lake City company built the pool and the Women’s Club arranged for the workers to stay with community members during construction to conserve all funds. Many people in town volunteered their free time to help with the construction of the new pool.
